Music & Movement
Ages 4-5 (3 year olds upon approval), (4:45-5:30)
Preschoolers will be introduced to basic music principles through listening, imitation, free movement, and dance. Students will learn about tempo, dynamics, basic solfege, and intervals and will sing Bible songs, folk songs, and traditional hymns. Preschoolers will use rhythm sticks, scarves, shakers, and sign language to incorporate movement with music-- the perfect combination for young musicians! Our class will conclude each semester by inviting parents to participate in a "sing-and-tell" during the last day of class.
Participants must currently be 5 years old or younger.
